Hi there, I'm Merrissa, thanks for stopping by!

I'm fortunate and happy to say that I have been photographing the beautiful people of the Shenandoah Valley area for over 25 years. My favorite subjects are senior graduates just finding their own path in life, families having fun and making memories, and sweet little baby feet taking their first steps. I photograph headshots for business professionals and still enjoy capturing a few weddings every year.

I believe with my whole heart and soul that these moments need to be celebrated and etched in time. Tomorrow's memories need to be printed and preserved for generations to come just as we're able to hold and reminisce moments of our parents and grandparents generation.

I smile just as much behind the camera as you will in front of it. Every person has a uniqueness and beauty to them. Finding that something special and capturing it is my number one goal. I want you to be comfortable in front of my lens; to just be you, kind, funny, silly, loving, be free to be yourself. I hope to capture you and your family just as you are.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me in the kitchen whipping up a fresh batch of salsa or baking a sweet treat. I love my family, spicy and sweet foods, coffee and my fur babies. I enjoy waking up early to walk the dog and photographing the beautiful morning light and gorgeous sunsets, the smell of spring flowers, roasting marshmallows on the campfire and snuggling up on the couch watching a good movie.
